standards compliance
Compliance to web standards is exceptionally important, both in ensuring your site renders well cross browser, but also when considering rankings in search engines.
All the sites that we build are standards based and will be validated as such. All CMS pages are validated as XHTML 1.0 transitional using the HTML validator provided by W3.org before going live. We also validate all CSS stylesheets against the CSS validator provided by W3.org to ensure compliance to standards
We will ensure all sites we build are checked in the latest versions of Firefox, Safari, IE and Google Chrome on both PC and Mac before going live to ensure user experience is good across these platforms. We will also endevour to check sites in earlier versions of these browsers, however please note that we do not support IE6 as we encourage any user still operating with this software to update immediately due to significant security issues.
Whilst we can ensure that your site is compliant before your site going live, however we cannot guarantee it once your site is live as content added by users may not be standards compliant. We can arrange to review your site on a regular basis to ensure continued compliance with standards.
