I've tried my site in a different browser and it doesn't look quite the same. What's up?
We will ensure all sites we build are checked in the latest versions of Firefox, Safari, IE and Google Chrome on both PC and Mac before going live to ensure user experience is good across these platforms. We will also endevour to check sites in earlier versions of these browsers, however please note that we do not support IE6 as we encourage any user still operating with this software to update immediately due to significant security issues. If your site does not appear correctly in one of our supported browsers then please contact us and we will investigate.
I need another page on my site, how do I create one?
When we setup your CMS for you, we will create the number of pages for your site that you require, subject to the maximum number that your package allows. If you require additional pages to be added to your site and you have not yet reached the maximum for your package, just contact us and we will create the page free of charge and give you access via the CMS. If you've already reached the maximum pages allowed by your plan, then we can add addtional pages for you at a cost of £10 per page added.
I've deleted a big chunk of content from one of my pages, can I get it back?
You should be able to use the history for the page you've deleted and restore a previous version of the page with the content you deleted. Alternately we keep daily backups of your site, so can restore your site or any part thereof for a small fee (currently £15). If you require us to restore your page please contact us
I've deleted an entire page from the CMS but didn't mean to! Can I get it back?
Yes, you should be able to. We keep daily backups of your site so contact us and we will restore the page for you for a small fee (currently £15).
I had an editor setup for my site that has now left my company, can I block him from accessing the site?
Yes of course, contact us or telephone us on (07590) 557179 and we will either remove the account or change the password for this user for you free of charge
I want to access my website files via FTP to upload some files, can I have the FTP details?
We do not normally give customers access via FTP to their sites, however we can provide these details should you wish. Please contact us and we will forward the details. Please note that any changes made using FTP may affect the operation of your CMS
I'm receiving quite alot of spam and viruses. I thought my email account was protected!
Spam and viruses are an unfortunate internet fact of life. Standard email accounts are not protected from spam or viruses. If you require an account with this protection we do offer these accounts from £20 per mailbox, per annum. Alternatively you should investigate a good desktop anti-virus/anti-spam solution from McAfee, Norton or AVG.
Can you guarantee a high position on the Google search results?
In a word, no we can't, and nor can anyone else. Google uses complex algorithms to ensure that their results are accurate. All accounts come with 3 months free search engine marketing in which we outline a strategy for your site to achieve results, but we do not guarantee this.
What happens if I don't pay the balance due for my site design / development within 30 days of due date?
We understand that people have problems at time, please contact us. We do, however, reserve the right to terminate the hosting of any account that has not been paid.
What happens in the event that I don't renew after 12 months?
We will contact you within 30 days of your renewal date to find out if you want to renew. If you don't then we will send you a CD / DVD containing your site by post on your renewal anniversary and take your site offline. If your domain is due for renewal we will let this lapse and become available for someone else to purchase. If your domain has additional time before it is due to renew we will display a holding page redirecting people to our site.
